Do you have favorite places that hold a special meaning for you? Perhaps you just enjoy the beauty of nature. I sure do and I try to find that direct reconnection to nature in outdoor painting. If not outdoors, I will work in the studio using my photos or those friends have given me permission to use. Usually I paint smaller works and use an impressionist approach to painting. I prefer oil painting but use acrylic, too.
